The studio sits in the Parramatta CBD, inside the City of Parramatta. Most of the suburbs people travel from share that local government area, and four of them are stops on a light rail line that ends a few minutes from the door.
Parramatta Light Rail Stage 1 runs from Westmead through the Parramatta CBD out to Carlingford. If you are on that line you reach the studio without driving or parking, which is why teams from the northern corridor book here rather than in town.
The studio and the suburbs below share a local government area, which usually means a trip of a few kilometres rather than a drive across Sydney. Harris Park and Rosehill are the closest of all, under five minutes away.
Outside the council boundary, these are the areas guests most often drive in from. If you have been searching for a podcast studio near you and everything comes back in the Sydney CBD, this is the easier alternative: quicker to reach by car from anywhere west of Strathfield, with parking on site rather than a paid tower car park in town.
Two institutional neighbours are worth naming. Western Sydney University has a campus in the Parramatta CBD and another at Rydalmere, and the Westmead health precinct sits at the western end of the light rail line. If you are in Parramatta, Harris Park, Westmead, Granville, Rosehill, Merrylands, Northmead, North Parramatta, Rydalmere, Telopea, Dundas, Wentworthville or Toongabbie, the studio is within a few kilometres. Westmead, Rydalmere, Dundas and Telopea are all on the Parramatta Light Rail line that ends in the CBD where we are. Blacktown, Auburn, Lidcombe and Sydney Olympic Park are a short drive, and most of Greater Western Sydney is inside 30 minutes.
Same production standard, with parking on site rather than a paid tower car park, and a shorter trip from anywhere west of Strathfield. If your guests are travelling from the Hills or the west, Parramatta is usually the easier meeting point.
